    CNY is officially known as Renminbi (RMB); 'yuan' is the primary unit.

    Local payments require valid CNAPS codes for routing.

    Non-ASCII characters are not supported in SWIFT messages.

    SWIFT character set includes: letters, numbers, spaces, and symbols / – ? : ( ) . , ‘ +

    Clients can send CNY payments into Mainland China via Swift. These funds are sent as a CNH payment and converted at a 1:1 rate from CNH to CNY upon arrival in Mainland China.

    Non-supported characters will be transformed to EBCDIC equivalent or removed on a best endeavors basis in order to comply with the restrictions of the Swift payment network. The permitted characters on the Swift network are letters, numbers, spaces and the following symbols: / – ? : ( ) . , ‘ +
